Gold Fish Japanese Restaurant in Palmdale

Generous portions served here and food quality is great! I had the spicy tuna Tataki $15 which is a meal in itself and the bulgogi plate which comes with miso soup, salad and rice which was only $11. Plenty left over for lunch tomorrow!

I have always loved Goldfish sushi, it’s fresh and I always have a great time there. With the quarantine in so happy that they’re still up and running. Literally! They give your order in your car and they’re sushi is still the bomb!!! It makes my little heart happy! Thank you goldfish

I had an absolutely wonderful time here with a large group of friends. Our food tasted delicious and the environment was lovely, however, there were several negative points to my experience here. The service was extremely slow. We had to ask a few times for our drinks to be ordered. (The house sake is NOT drinkable.) They served the sushi family-style, which would have normally been fine, except that we had a few people with dietary restrictions and asked for our meals to be served individually. When it was time to leave, our bill was impossible to decipher, which made it difficult for us to split. Lastly, for me personally, I ordered a couple pieces of sashimi for myself which only I ate, and only I had food poisoning the next day.

First visit, menu had a typo supposedly, the soup we ordered needed to have calamari according to menu, but was not in the soup.Issue was corrected, but it was a funny moment for meThe food and service was great.

First time we went to Goldfish was around 9pm. Very cool atmosphere and prompt service, raw rolls/tuna was good but not anything to rave about. Prices are decent, actually cheaper than other places in the area. Each item is around $8 to $10. Their bowl portions are HUGE. Had the chicken teriyaki bowl with egg added but there wasn't much egg. Second time we went was around 4pm. Took 45 minutes to get our food and it was cold. Even though we got some baked rolls (which take longer and come from the kitchen) people around us that ordered bowls and Ramon/noodles other kitchen food were served first even though they arrived 15 minutes after us. The rolls are always on the bigger side but they fell apart on the plate when you touched one beside it. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar.

Awesome food, very kind staff, regularly awesome atmosphere. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is excellent. Keep it up.

Excellent service, delicious sushi! I came on a very busy Saturday night around 7:45 p.m. I was greeted the moment I walked in by a very friendly server, and he had my to-go order already packed up for me. My phone order went smoothly, and the lady couldn't have been nicer. I think her name was Ariana. I had a spicy tuna roll and a double salmon roll, and they were both fresh and delicious. Very well put together rolls, with plenty of fresh fish stuffed inside. I will definitely come back, keep up the good work!

This store has amazing sushi at very low prices. I always go when i visit palmdale. The quality of the sushi is very high. I would have given five stars but i did not because the service is poor quality. Even if it is empty the waiters don't check in on you and it is hard to get their attention if you need something. I would suggest eating at the sushi bar. You get better service there.

We have been going to Gold Fish for years with many family members for years (6) to be more exact. It can be crowded on weekends, but get their early to truly experience the sushi. Its fresh and the people who work there take pride in serving up such great food. The Dynamite Roll is good, chicken bowl for kids and adults is always a great selection.

I loved their food here. The sushis were really good. And the sashimis were so fresh, it felt like melted in my mouth. We were a bunch of people ordered different types of food. I adore this place! They prepare high quality meals, their menu is nice, The chef in that place is very experienced, I like a lot trying all their dishes. The dishes are always good, the attitude towards the customers is good. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.

We placed an order and they called us when it was ready. Pretty great instead of having people show up and letting customers wait. Food was phenomenal as always. Truly taking steps to ensure customer safety. Did I mention you can order their delicious alcoholic beverages to go! One bonus, during this pandemic if I may say so. Don't forget to tip generously!

Goldfish did a really great job during the Safer at Home order. They set up a great system and did not disappoint. We ordered again from them tonight and found that they have opened back up for in person dining. That is fine, but we feel they may have been overwhelmed. When we got home, we found that our order was incorrect. The rolls that we ordered were not fully packed and appeared to be thrown together. Hopefully this was due to an usually busy night.

Love my experience here. Even with the closure they are still busy and manage to get everyone's food to them hot and delicious.
